Bio

With over nine years of industry experience across mechanical engineering and a decade of expertise in neuroscience research, I’ve consistently leveraged my skills in computational analysis, signal processing, and innovative problem-solving to tackle complex challenges. My work spans both fields, with a proven ability to develop and implement solutions that bridge engineering and biological systems, exemplified by my recent research and publications on sleep science.

My transition from engineering to neuroscience was driven by a growing interest in meditation and a desire to objectively track my progress. However, I found the existing tools limited and costly. Undeterred, I developed my own hardware and software to measure HRV during meditation and sleep. This personal research project eventually led to a university collaboration, and, inspired to go deeper, I completed a neuroscience PhD.

I’m driven by curiosity and a dedication to solving real-world problems, learning quickly to adapt and innovate. As the strategist Hannibal said, “I shall either find a way or make one.” This mindset has pushed me to build diverse skills beyond formal education, enabling me to tackle challenges effectively and deliver meaningful results.
